even if it's my off day, i still have to go down to school
either meet my PP advisor, or UT.

but i think it's pretty good.

it's a 1 1/2 hr lecture where i think we rarely gets in RP.
cos we don't go to lectures. other polys do.

i concentrate more in lecture. i don't know why.
and i miss going for lecture. haha
those were the ITE days.

the talk is so useful in getting me along in this
2nd yr project.

in the lecture theatre, you hear nothing BUT
the sound of people typing their notes.
not 1 or 2,
but ALL. it's like super loud.

every 2 years, sec sch military bands would vied for the
Best Display Band Award &
Best Drum Major Award.

in order to qualify for this 2 awards, you need to be a Gold With Honours Band.

and so this year's central judging is abit different from the other past years.
past years, we have this central judging, and select the top 4 bands to vie for the 2 awards
in the later part of the year during SYF in july.
but this year, it's a straight competition where the bands are judged for the award.

there were so much pressure.
9 bands competing instead of 4.

as all expected, 3 top bands to vie for the award.
TK, BOWEN AND DEYI.

neck to neck.
all gasping for the awards.

surprisingly, the other 6 newbies bands are making their way up,
though not all are, some were already getting there.

TK,
sound was just good. not as loud as before.
formation good. choreography was there.
creativity was there too.

BOWEN,
overall, SUCK.
SUCK BIG TIME.
no comments.
it's just a disgrace.
to the band we've built so far.
to my dearest percussion section.
a waste of my time to lead and leave the tradition which is not practiced now.

DEYI,
thumbs up to the formtation.

and obviously, as i expected, the results were true enough predictable.
DEYI won both awards.
